In his interview for Chinese agency, Sinhua , GM at Air Serbia, Dane Kondic, said the agreement on mutual usage of line with Chinese airline, Air China has stepped into the final stage.

- Negotiations on code share have been in progress with Air China. We want it,, they want it and we are now just working out the details – he said.

He said the initiative for introducing direct Belgrade-Peking flight should have been presented by much bigger airline than Air Serbia.

- We do not have a wide-body airplane and therefore we are looking for an option to cooperate and become partners with a Chinese airline or some other Asian airline– Kondic said explaining why there are no direct Belgrade-Peking flights, Sinhua reported.

He said he is always open for new forms of cooperation with his “Chinese brothers” and added he will visit China in early 2015 to discuss with representatives of civil aviation, banks, airlines and place producers.

Kondic confirmed he will participate at the upcoming summit of China and CEE countries held in Belgrade, December 16 and 17 where he hopes to meet representatives of Chinese airlines and producers.
