A total of EUR 1, 6 m for cooperation of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro

The Government of Serbia and the European Commission signed agreements totaling EUR 1,6 m for cross-border cooperation projects of Serbia with Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, the governmental office for cooperation with media announced on Friday, December 12, 2014.
The minister without portfolio in charge for EU integrations and national IPA coordinator, Jadranka Joksimovic and the head of General Directorate fr EC expansion, Jean-Eric Paquet.
As announced, late this year of early next year, calls for collection of cross border projects of Serbia with Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro which will be EU funded after the agreements are signed, will be released.
A total of EUR 3,6 m will be set aside for Serbia – Bosnia and Herzegovina cross border cooperation for flood damage rehabilitation as well as prevention.
A total of EUR 2, 2 m was set aside for cross-border cooperation projects with Montenegro in order to increase productivity and competitiveness of economic, rural, cultural and natural resources.
EU donations will be available through non-profit institutions which will have to provide on their own at least 15% of the proposed project budget.
