PANAGOPULUS: Serbia close to realization of "Hellenic" plan

Greek Ambassador to Belgrade, Christos Panagopoulos, stated that it could be expected any moment that the Greek Government accepted all conditions of the Government of Serbia regarding the financing of construction of "Corridor 10", in the scope of the realization of "Hellenic“ plan for the Balkans.

Panagopulos reminded that the assistant to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Evripidis Stilianidis, on the occasion of his visit to Belgrade, spoke about realization of "Hellenic" plan for Serbia, and he stated that Greece set aside about 0.5 billion eUR for the realization of that plan for the Balkans, about 232m EUR of which are reserved for Serbia.

Speaking at the Conference about economic and trading relations between Greece and Serbia, the participants in which were the representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of Athens and the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, Panagopulos underlined the importance of construction of "Corridor 10" through Serbia, which would connect Greece with the markets of western Europe.
