Finish Lindstrom invests in Serbia- Acquistion and new service center in Belgrade

Finish company, Lindstrom, operating in production and maintenance of industrial safety clothes, continues growing and investments in Serbia with the opening of the new service center in Belgrade, i.e. taking over of business of local service company HWS Hygiene Solutions.

Takeover of business of HWS Hygiene Solutions doo was approved in September 2014 and it officially started December 1. This way, Lindstrom, whose business started in April this year, strengthens its position at the Serbian market.

In Serbia, HWS Hygiene Solutions has been operating since , i stekla2006 and built a significant user database in Belgrade and other bigger towns. After takeover, Lindstrom is hiring 16 people from Serbia.

- The acquisition is a part of our growth strategy at the Serbian market which enables us to provide a wide portfolio of services to our clients in Serbia and their needs. Using our services, users will be able to maintain their rooms clean and safe saving at the same time money and time. Lindstrom services will be available to companies country-wide - Nenad Bozovic, the head of Lindstrom Srbija said.

Lindstrom set up a new service center in Belgrade which opened in late November this year. As the first one of this kind started by the company, delivery of industrial safety clothes to clients country-wide will be enabled as a service through this center.

- The concept of renting industrial safety suites is relatively new in Serbia and our competition is a traditional way of washing and maintaining of clothes by the employees. We are witnesses of changes where companies see advantages of renting these kinds of suites to save time and money. Apart from that, hygiene and safety are becoming more important – Bozovic said.
