"Argus Tours", "Hyatt Regency" and "Lasta" – champions of tourism

Minister of Tourism, Trade and Services, Bojan Dimitrijević, and the Minister of Diaspora, Vojislav Vukčević, awarded "JUTA kvalitet plus" certificates to the enterprises that obtained the largest number of passengers' votes on Internet site of "JUTA".

The most successful tourist agency in 2006 is "Argus Tours" from Belgrade, the most successful hotel is "Hyatt Regency", while the best bus transportation company is "Lasta" from Belgrade.
Dimitrijević explains that 5-6 master plans have already been prepared and that 3 or 4 more are being worked on, and that the total value of potential investments is 1 billion EUR, which will be spent on Palić, Vlasina, Golija, Stara planina and Tara.

Stating that the growth of foreign currency income from tourism was 60% higher in January than in the same month last year, Dimitrijević said that it could be expected that it would exceed amount of 500m USD in 2007.
