Privatization Agency broke Contract with company "Cuprom" – 3m USD to stay in Serbia

Today (April 25, 2007), the Privatization Agency announced that it had broken the Contract on sale of Mining Smeltery Basin (RTB) "Bor" with Romanian company "Cuprom".

According to the announcement, due to the fact that the guarantees for payment were not submitted even in the additional period, and in accordance with the article 41 of the Privatization law, the Privatization Agency broke the contract on sale of RTB "Bor".

The Agency will collect the payment for the guarantee of company "Cuprom" in amount of 3m USD.
