Arriva Litas to buy Serbian Mercedes – November 27 to see Ikarbus signing contract on sale of 10 solo city buses

November 27, Ikarbus" will sign with Pozarevac-basedArriva litas, contract on sale of 10 solo city buses.
One of the buses is IK112 LE prototype made incooperation with German Mercedes.
Ikarbus announced that that day they will sign another contract with Daimler’sgeneral distributor, Star Import, onbusiness-technical cooperation.
Based on the contract, Ikarbus will become Mercedes’ authorized assembler forbus and sprinter chassis, Ikarbus said for Tanjug.
The contracts will be signed at Zemun-based Ikarbus’ plantoffices.
In March this year, Ikarbus has presented a new model of "IK112 LE" bus – the first bus madein cooperation with Mercedes. It is "low entry solo" city bus, whichis a combination of low-profiled and mid-profiled bus, with the capacity of 100passengers with 35 seats.
The bus is adapted to suburban lines and roads in bad conditionand it is cheaper than low-profiled one.
