On April 18, Societe Generale bank became the owner of 75% of assets of Albanian bank Popullore. Bank Popullore was founded in 2004. During three years of work, it won 5% of local market.
At the moment, Bank Popullore has 42,000 clients, 30 offices and it employs 280 people. The assets of the bank, at the end of 2006, amounted to 230m EUR.
