Roses for Russian market - Nursery in Kostolac opened

On Friday, November 21, 2014, the President of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolic, opened a nursery of ROI company which will, through pilot project, produce roses for Russian market and then said we should have more of these investments.

President of Serbia said that the country where the country where big industrial facilities should be cultivated for planting of orchard and nurseries.

Head of TEKO Kostolac, Dragan Jovanovic, said the interest to make these projects live in that area.

The head of RIO Filip Rakic said that nursery was made on 25 a and that rose seeds were imported from Italy and that so far EUR 220.000 has been poured in this project. As he added, the nursery will have 15.000 rose seeds and it will be located at TEKO ash area.
