Province provides funds for construction of Zezelj bridge

The provincial government, based on the recommendation of the Government of Serbia, provided funds for payment of additional costs for the Zezelj bridge construction in Novi Sad which showed readiness that the bridge is completed, the Bureau of Vojvodina Government for public relations announced.

At the meeting of the working group for the bridge construction held at the Provincial government offices, an interest to continue the construction as soon as possible was shown, it was announced.

It was added that continuation of the construction of the Zezelj bridge was agreed with the agreement of the PC Zeleznice Srbije as an investor and the Spanish company Azvi as a contractor.

In order to provide funds planned for this year within the provincial budget, the working group agreed that in the next three days, the Fund for capital investments of Vojvodina, through which province is financing continuation of bridge construction, is provided with essential documentation based on which the agreement between an investor and a contractor was signed.

After the documentation analysis, options will be created for signing an annex to the basic contract on construction of the Zezelj bridge, it was announced.

The meeting was attended by the representatives of the Provincial government, Fund for capital investments of Vojvodina, Ministry of construction, traffic and infrastructure, Zeleznice Srbije, Cibridge in consortium with Italian Taddei and Spanish Horta Coslada.
