Construction of the first hotel at Lustica Bay settlement starts in the second half of 2015

(The beginning of
the works) In the Lustica Development company they are very committed to the
objective to start the construction of the first, out of seven planned hotels,
in the second half of 2015. Montenegrin journalists visited last week as first
visitors a residential settlement with the first ten buildings in the Lustica
Bay tourist complex, Radio-televizija Crne Gore reports.
Last week, the company got the urban and technical conditions for designing and
construction of the first hotel in the future tourist city, Lustica Bay. The
Ministry for sustainable development and tourism issued the conditions for lots
UP 50, 51 and 52, on 80 thousand square meters.
Speaking about the construction of the first hotel, the Executive Manager at Lustica Devlopment, Daren Gibson, said that they are now negotiating with a few internationally recognized hotel brands with respect to hotel management.
- The experience of Orascom Development" in other parts of the world, its
ability to use the existing cooperation with international hotel brands such as
"The Chedi", "Movenpick", "Marriott", "Club
Med", "Sheraton and Sofitel", provides us security that we will
sign the contract with the operator which will be an excellent outcome for
promotion of Montenegrin tourism – Gibson said.
As he said, the construction of the hotel means a significant step in Lustica Bay project development and shows commitment of the company to economic development and tourist offer in Montenegro. Planned hotels will be the first at Lustica peninsula and will contribute to tourist offer of Tivat and the entire Montenegro and the Adriatic.
The first buildings with 70 suites in residential settlement, as it was announced to journalists, have stepped into the final stage. Works on landscape and interior development have been in progress now Radio-televizija Crne Gore reports.
