Pancevo-based Petrohemija starts production in two plants more

After starting production at Etilen in Pancevo-based Petrohemija, in polyethylene plants PEVG and PENG started production of goods for sale at foreign and domestic markets, it was Petrohemija announced on Friday, November 14, 2014 for Tanjug.

All petrochemical operate stably, according to operational production plan.

Start of the HIP Petrohemija plant ended and it was carried out with intensive control of polluting substances in air which proved the process was conducted in line with the environmental protection standards.

Rehabilitation of production at HIP Petrohemija followed after a two-month overhaul during which revitalization of production systems as well as controls and production equipment rehabilitation.

Overhaul activities conducted enabled continuation of safe and efficient facility work.

The period was used for preparation activities with respect to projects of energy efficiency and cost reduction, Petrohemija says.
