Posting a photo of a dress of favorite designer on Instagram, a tweet or a status on kind staff in a shopping mall, sharing of an interesting video on YouTube, etc. Every user of social networks and blogs in Serbia at least once distributed an opinion of a brand he or she like and as of September 1 one can earn from it.

Bee Shaper a platform enables it, an internet tool of PRpepper agency which has recently became a commercial product. As Dragana Djermanovic, a partner and a company head at PRpepper and a founder of Bee Shape startup says in her interview for our portal, the agency team is fully aware that need in fact people for promotion of different activities for different clients.

Bridge between user and brands

Bee Shaper is an interactive e-marketing platform- a bridge between a user and brands. Namely, it is a platform where social media users who want to participate in campaign, NGOs and individuals who want to promote something apply.

Bee Shaper’s task is to assign users (shapers) a campaign within which they will promote a brand in line with their own values and usual internet activities.

- We do it through a very complex system of affinity evaluation based on which we exactly know which campaign is for a specific user. We have to pick up the right user to protect a brand and even more a user so that he or she would preserve credibility in his or her internet community. The platform guarantees shapers’ credibility since they pass a very detailed check system.

Campaigns worth sharing

(Dragana Djermanovic) Bee Shaper accepts only campaigns worth of sharing since, as our portal’s collocutor says, not all campaigns are for Bee Shaper.

- Every campaign has a tool which can promote it. We give campaign to a user who has been building his reputation for years and investing its social capital and then he should get campaign which is quality – creative, innovative and informative. Apart from that, the rule is that users provide objective comment, not necessarily positive status. Campaigns are worth sharing since otherwise users would share them anyway but now they will have additional boost - money.

According to eKapija’s collocutor, every campaign step is transparent since the vision of Bee Shaper is to legalize domestic craft of secret influencing on the internet.

Every company or organization can register its campaign at Bee Shaper. When it submits registration it is delivered to the best shapers in that category for the previous months who are members of TIM (Marketing Interest Testing).

Campaign which never stops

Campaign which is conducted through Bee Shaper practically never stops.

- A campaign ends when target is achieved and when payment period expires. From the moment a campaign ends, results come in optimal pace for a few days, even weeks. It is because a campaign is organic since shapers leave statuses they stand behind and they stay at internet even when a campaign is over. Clients are satisfied because they get more than they paid – Djermanovic outlines adding that it is postpaid platform, so there is no risk practically.

Who are shapers?


Bee Shaper is for marketing experts, PR agencies, NGOs and individuals but in fact there is no target group which cannot find answers to its promotional needs. Altough on platform, influential social media users are registered, BeeShaper is not primarily focused on so-called influential users but ideal representatives – shapers. They are a new group of internet users. They are truly attached to a product or a company and they would promote it without incentives.

- It is not important whether they have 300 or 500 followers but the fact they are brand ambassadors and that they can generate effect for a brand in their small circle. These are man and women from Subotica to Novi Pazar who use LinkedIn, Instagram, blog, YouTube, Pinterest or only Facebook and Twitter. We had a shaper with 500 friends who had more promotional actions than a user with 3.000 friends. So, finally quality brought quantity. Quality is the only thing with which Prpepper does not make compromise and it will generate difference throughout time - Djermanovic thinks.

Bee Shaper used this tool for their own campaign and then user Djordje earned USD 137.

Eight campaigns in the first month


Preparations for Bee Shaper lasted for two years so the results did not fail. In September, in the first month of service launch, eight commercial campaigns were carried out. On the average, every shaper is connected with 918 other internet users and they can touch-click on Bee Shaper 2,3 million of different accounts on intern et on all social networks.

The objective is that Bee Shaper becomes a tool which will be used on global level which is what the developmental team work on. When it comes to short-term objectives, Djermanovic reveals that they are planning to, by December, carry out campaigns for 10 brands from 10 most popular productive branches. So far, campaigns for TV N1, Telenor, Limundo, Idea, Roda, Mercator have been conducted and campaigns in lifestyle, technological devices and financial institutions are underway.
