Jagodina-based Jela announces export to Russia
Furniture producers in Serbia do not have the support of the state but even with that the furniture plant Jela last year launched to foreign markets half of the production totaling EUR 3,5 m, the company owner, Miroljub Radovanovic, has announced today at the opening of the Third home fair in Jagodina.
- The countries which want to take car about good exporters must provide support
to exporters, especially if as in the case of Jela you work on the most demanding
markets in the world. With the most
modern western technology and materials, we are managing to be in the first
price range with all neighboring countries such as Germany, Austria and Greece,
while we will try to penetrate the market of Russia – Radovanovic said.
- When it comes to furniture, Serbian market in the past couple of years has
been the most attractive, others left behind. However, the situation at the
local market is not good since the citizens’ purchasing power is on decrease – Radovanovic says.
At the fair in Jagodina, on 1000 m2, 50 new models of furniture for the
upcoming season with new design, decoration and technologies were presented.
