Valjevo-based "Srbijanka" sold for 330m RSD

At the yesterday's (April 18, 2007) auction in the premises of the Privatization Agency, Corporation "Media Group" from Bulgaria bought former Valjevo-based agricultural-food processing giant "Srbijanka" for 330m RSD. The starting price amounted to 275m RSD. On the surface of 13.65 ha, "Srbijanka" has business buildings and industrial facilities and warehouse.

Concerning the fact that the company is being privatized in the restrucuring process, the obligations of the company, which exceed its value, did not enter the price. The money obtained from the sale will be used for repayment of debts to creditors, the workers of the factory and those who have valid mortgages.
