French VINCI wants Belgrade-based airport

French VINCI is interested in the Nikola Tesla airport in Surcin, Politika writes today.

As it was stated, details have not been known yet and it is not known whether other investors will appear the moment the Nikola Tesla airport is ready for privatization or to provide potential concession rights, which is more likely.

French VINCI has already been managing 23 airports in France, Portugal and Cambodia. VINCI was competing for the airport in Ljubljana with German Fraportom, Politika reports.

The Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said yesterday that the Government is considering the option of providing concession for Belgrade’s airport.
