"Aciona" gave up procurement of "Putnik", u igri samo Dmitrij Lucenko - akcionari o prodaji do 23. aprila

Cypriot "Aciona" has withdrawn from the competition for takeover of "Putnik", and Dmitrij Lucenko offered 5,500 RSD per stock for 85% of assets of this company. The stockholders, that is, the State with 70% and minor stockholders with about 15% of stocks, have the time prior to April 23 at noon to decide what to do with the offer.

The stocks of company "Putnik" on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, after this news, reached the price of 5,000 RSD, which is the increase of 19% over the yesterday's (April 17, 2007) price of 4,200 RSD per stock.


If Lucenko buys all 85% of stocks of "Putnik", the entire package will cost 43m EUR.

Russian businessman from San Petersburg stated in his offer that he was willing to invest 30m EUR in the rehabilitation of tourist capacities of "Putnik", as well as to repay all debts of that company, which had amounted to 731.5m RSD at the end of the previous year.


Following the opening of the offer, Lucenko's agents announced he was interested in investing large amount of money in St. Mark Island near Tivat, as well as in the other capacities of "Putnik", first of all, the hotel of Kopaonik mountain.
