Turkish Korkmaz group is interested in investments in Serbia

President of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolic, has discusses today with the president of the Turkish group, Korkmaz, Ferudun Korkmaz, investments in Serbia.
- Our general bilateral relations are very good and it is very difficult
something spoils them – Nikolic outlined, his press service informed.
He added that Serbia is committed to reforms and optimal environment for
foreign investments.
- For a big and important investor such as Korkmaz group, we will prepare proposals and
terms for privatization in different fields – Nikolic said.
He outlined Serbia has expert workforce, contracts on free trade with a number of countries and that, due to its position in Europe, it is very favorable destination for investors.
As it was announced, president of Korkmaz group, Ferudun Korkmaz, said his company wants to cooperate with Serbia “first of all for friendly feelings and then economic reasons”.
He is interested in investing in textile and pharmaceutical industry, infrastructure, energy, mining as well as in companies in restructuring.
Korkmaz group, headquartered in Istanbul, has a few companies operating in production, services and designing in energy and mechanical industry.
