Food industry modernization - ICE in Italy is presenting Study on Serbian market of machines and technologies

Italian agency for foreign trade (ICE) is presenting at the fair Cibustec and Foodtech in Parma, a study about the Serbian market of machinery and technologies for processing food, packaging and packing.

Production in Serbia in the field of food processing and packing is the subject to the Study which ICE Agency conducted with the approval of the Union of Italian producers of automatic packing machines (UCIMA) and in cooperation with the Fair in Parma through its Belgrade-based office.

The research will be presented October 31 in Parma within the Cibustec Fair, one of the most important sectorial events at the world level. Delegation of Serbian companies operating in import and production of equipment for food processing, packaging and packing will participate at the fair organized by ICE Agency. The objective is to present Serbian market and the options it provides to one of the most dynamic sectors of Italian industry of machine ICE stated in the announcement.

The thing that makes Serbian market important at the regional level refers first of all to two important factors, on the one hand to the assets from IPARD fund coming to Serbia and on the other to increased demand at the markets which have preferential trading relations with Serbia.

Serbian companies will soon be able to use these European funds and interventions at the state level are also planned with an aim to modernize a production sector which must upgrade its standards so that it could reply to an increasing demand for both quantities and quality which are coming to Serbia from the countries of Euro-Asian customs union (Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan) which have with Belgrade agreement on free trade for products made in Serbia.
