EBRD approves €22m worth of credit for reconstruction of Belgrade-based hotel "Intercontinental"?

Belgrade-based Intercontinental was once the fourth hotel in the hotel chain of Intercontinental corporation. Recently this hotel obtained temporary license whose point is reaching of the world standards in the field of hotel keeping. The talks with the representatives of European Bank for Rehabilitation and Development about loan for financing of hotel reconstruction are underway. According to estimates, €22m is required for organization of hotel in order to meet all the standards of the chain of Intercontinental hotels.

The hotel fulfilled the conditions related to efficient telecommunications system and internet. The big works that are to be done are reconstruction of rooms, organization of halls, power supply unit, restaurant, etc. The rooms are dilapidated and do not look like the rooms of the five-star hotel.

Intercontinental is, according to all standards, five-star hotel. It has complete service, the most beautiful fitness center, tennis courts, exclusive restaurants, 2 ha of park. Recently, Genex impulse hall has been opened and it is used for organization of fashion shows, promotions and other manifestations.
