French company "Lohr" invests 7m EUR in factory in Bačka Topola

French company "Lohr" will invest 7m EUR in the factory for production of transporters for passenger automobiles in Bačka Topola and employ 220 people. Production in the new factory, according to the announcements, should start in May, which will be preceded by the training for two groups of workers in France.

With the share of 70% of world market, "Lohr" is the leader in production of vehicles for transportation of passenger automobiles. This company plans to produce 40 specialized transporters per month in the factory in Bačka Topola. The entire annual production, worth more than 20m EUR, will be exported to Russia, the market of which will be in demand for this product during the following 10 years.

The intention of that company is to develop wide network of collaborators for the needs of production of transporters whose parts, at the beginning of the factory work, will be delivered from France.

The new factory will be settled on the lot of the former building company "1. maj", of which complex of three halls (6,500 square meters) was bought from the office of Tax Administration in Bačka Topola due to unpaid obligations of that company towards the State.
