Russia today opens branch office in Serbia

The international informative agency, Russia today" ("Russia today", MIA Sevodnja) is opening branch offices in 29 countries, Serbia being one of them.

Each one of them will have its own site in the language of the country where it is located and then in the spring it will also have a radio. The portal in Serbia will report on the events in Serbia and foreign policy will be in line with the policy of Russia.

The Center Manager in Belgrade will be Ljubinka Milincic, current reporter from Moscow of NIN, the weekly, and previously of Politika. It was planned that the center employs 30 people.

- There is a need in our region for the Russian view because west media have been working here for more than 20 years. Almost all media have been bought. In Serbia, there is almost none Serbian media and it will be very good to listen to the word of Russia as well, views of Russia over some situations - Ljubinka Milincic said. According to her, "it is especially important at this moment when the relations in the world change".

The official presentation of centers abroad will be held in Moscow next week.

- Our basic audience are the people in the world and there are, I believe, more than a billion who shake from the American propaganda which overflows radios, agencies, TV, press – GM at MIA Russia today" Dimitri Kiseljov, said.

They "unscrupulously violate international right, change truth and facts, they are literarily to zombie people", Kiseljov said. "TV Russia 24" says it does not refer only to "reporting points " but "multimedia centers".
