Serbia issues new Euro bonds by the end of 2014

The Minister of Finance, Dusan Vujovic, has announced today that the by the end of the year the government will issue new Euro bonds in order to provide funds for regular budget liabilities funding in 2014.

He could not say whether the emission will be in November or December as well as whether it will be before or after the talks with IMF.

- It will depend on estimation of optimal structure and debt price. It will not be funds for this year but for essential budget funding in 2015 and it totals EUR 5, 7 billion- Vujovic said at the press conference.

Vujovic outlined that with the sale of state-owned securities at the local market, a total of EUR 3 billion will be collected and the remaining portion at the foreign market.
