Negotiations on concession for a part of Corridor 11 start

Negotiations on providing concession for construction, usage and maintenance of the part of the E-763 highway from Belgrade to Pozega started today with representatives of two Chinese companies which passed prequalification procedure, China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) and Shandong Hi-Speed Group.

As the Ministry of construction, traffic and infrastructure announced, concession refers to construction and maintenance of the part of the Corridor 11, from Surcin to Obrenovac, 17, 6 km long, and from Preljina to Pozega, 30, 9 km long, as well as management, maintenance and usage of the Obenovac-Preljine section, 103 km long.



At separate meetings, the expert team comprising the Ministry of construction, traffic and infrastructure and other relevant state-owned institutions, presented projects and procedure of selection of concessionary to the Chinese companies and answered their questions.

Negotiations with Chinese companies will continue and they will discuss technical, legal and financial aspects.

According to framework schedule for procedure implementation, final offers delivery deadline is December 15 2014 and the contract on concession should be signed by the end of March 2015, it was stated in the announcement.
