Slovenian Tus confirms closing of all shops in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Slovenian trade chain, TUS, officially confirmed media writing that it is closing all its shops in Bosnia and Herzegovina, explaining the action with environmental disasters.


Due to difficult situation and instable environment, TUS Trade started all formal procedures for closing the shops in Bosnia and Herzegovina; it was stated in the announcement of the Slovenian company management delivered to 92 suppliers, Kapital. Ba portal reports.


- This year, the company planned to improve business but difficult economic situation and decreased purchasing power in that region was additionally affected by environmental disasters and self-willing activities of some suppliers which did not have understanding for the situation and they disabled overcoming the situation with their blockades. Therefore, TUS was facing serious challenges in business and at the end it decided to close the shops– it was explained in the letter.

Suppliers in Bosnia and Herzegovina reacted strongly to the announcement accusing TUS of trying to cheat them using environmental disasters as an excuse which is, as they say, only pne out of the number of arrogant acts.
