Owner of SBB buys Slovenian Tusmobil

United group, owner of SBB cable operator in Serbia is penetrating the mobile telephony market in Slovenia through the acquisition of mobile operator, Tusmobile, the company announced.

Cable operator, Telemach (operating within united group) and Tus Holding have already signed the contract, it was announced.

After takeover, as it was said, Telemach is planning investments in mobile infrastructure so that in the next year they users would have an access to 4G networks, access to Internet with speeds of up to 200 Mbps.

- I am sure we will have a successful story in mobile communications by providing our customers wide range of services – GM at Telemach, Marko Ster, said, it was announced.

United Group (Telemach/SBB), through its members, operates in Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia and Macedonia where it has 1,9 million subscribers for cable and satellite TV, wide range internet, fixed and mobile telephony.

Since March, 2014, KKR, a global investment company headquartered in New York is a majority owner of United.
