Bridge Building in Grdelica Gorge – Tender for Reconstruction of Sarajevo Bridge and Construction of New Bridge in Graovo Published

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has published the tender for the reconstruction of the Sarajevo Bridge on the South Morava in the Grdelica Gorge and the construction of a bridge in the village of Graovo in the Grdelica area.

The procurement also entails the reconstruction and construction of access roads.

The tender says that the procurement will be financed from the loan received by the Corridors of Serbia from the EBRD.

As the local media reported this autumn, EUR 4 million will be invested in the reconstruction of the Sarajevo Bridge. The plan is for it to be completed by the end of next year.

When it comes to the investment in Graovo, the new bridge, which has been planned for a few years now, will replace the current one, which is a used-up wooden hanging bridge, and the access roads will enable the local populace to finally be connected with Corridor 10.
