Construction of the first section of the Belgrade - Zrenjanin road begins by the end of the year

By the end of the year, construction of the first section of the road connecting Belgrade and Zrenjanin will begin, said the President of the Provincial Government, Igor Mirovic on the occasion of a meeting with representatives of the company China Shandong International Economic.

- The project is progressing quickly and we expect that the works on the first section of the road between Belgrade and Zrenjanin will start by the end of the year. The Provincial Government, in coordination with local authorities, will assist in the preparation of technical documentation, in order to commence this great undertaking, a highway that is of great importance for Vojvodina, Serbia and all our citizens - Mirovic said, as per the official website of the Provincial Government.

At the meeting, he discussed the matter with the branch director of the Chinese company, Zhang Jianchao, and the Provincial secretary for energy, construction and traffic, Ognjen Bjelic, was also present.
