Reconstruction of Nis-Zajecar Railway to be Completed in June

The reconstruction of the Nis-Zajecar railway should be completed in June 2021, Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Tomislav Momirovic said during the working visit.

The minister reminded that the reconstruction of the 108-km railway was supposed to be over on November 1.

– This is a strategic railway for us. It is very important for the cargo transport, but we also hope to launch the passenger transport in the future – he emphasized.

Momirovic pointed out that the project involved numerous problems, many of which were objective problems, but added that there were also unnecessary delays.
